Recent Code On Time update incorporates the latest Ajax Control Toolkit from Codplex and supports HTML 5 style of shadows in IE 9 and all other major browsers.
These are the few examples of rounded shadows in various browsers. Notice the smooth rounded corners of modal views and transparent shadows.
IE 7 and 8 will continue to display “square” shadows. Here is the “traditional” shadowed modal view.
